This group is for musician's that like to play Afro-Cuban music and would like to get together on regular basis for a Descarga! (Afro-Cuban Jam). We welcome all Afro-Cuban instruments such as percussion, tres, cuatro, bajo, guitarrra, piano, flutes, horns, violin, and cantantes, etc The purpose of this group is to perform Afro-Cuban music in the most authentic manner as possible. Some of the forms we will work on , but are not limited to are Mambo, Son, Afro, Songo, Chachacha, Boleros, etc

The Orange County Drum Circle (OCDC) Meetup is made up of hand drummers who play African, Afro-Cuban, Latin, pop, and “world” percussion.  We put on community drum events, paid performances, and facilitated drumming workshops & events. Drumming spans traditional (cultural) drumming, shows & special events, community outreach, private parties, company retreats, wellness and spirituality.
